For my fashion assignment this spring, I decided to shoot a photostory of several close friends in fantastic period clothing. As I was thinking of what photos I wanted to take on my trip to the Izaak Walton Inn, I kept thinking back to my frequent trips to Monterey, California last year and the style I felt I started playing with then. However, I had never approached Monterey with the thoughtfulness or the gear I brought to Essex, Montana. <br/><br/>If anyone is looking for a peaceful, incredible weekend in the depths of the Rocky Mountains, look no further than this little railroad themes inn. I’ve been learning a lot and enjoying the challenge immensely. This week’s assignment was product photography, and I took the chance to combine two of my favorite vices: photography and jewelry. Still on the docket: Fine Art, Architecture, my Travel Package and my Fashion Series, which will be the true project for my semester. </p> <p>Also, there may or may not be a debate happening over the merits of my various watermarks. I’ve accumulated a few, and used them somewhat interchangeably. The square bordered version is the primary one in use on this site. Morgan has a passion for aviation history and archaeology, so we spent the day adventuring in the aviation graveyard west of Missoula.
